Introducing new Access Portal Pro Software Features - Version 1.2

Version 1.2 is a free software update packed with new advanced features for Access Portal Pro.
The new features of this release assist in creating an even more bespoke system, which allows you to refine your access control to meet any sites exact requirements.
We’re going to walk you through the features, so you can take full advantage of each new feature.

 

Custom Person / Asset Profile

This new feature is better than a James Bond style tracking device. Pro’s new custom profiles allows one to create any number of custom fields for a person and an asset.

Custom Person: Similar to a tailor-made suit that is made to precisely fit an individual, Pro can be tailor-made to accommodate the exact needs of a site. There is no longer a ‘straight off the peg’ approach, Pro can be individually tailored to custom fit each site’s requirements.

You can add any numerous custom fields for tagholders, in addition to the built-in fields. By creating bespoke profiles for tagholder enrolment, the system collects the exact data required and has the ability to create different groups of tailored profiles. A variety of new custom fields are available: text based, radio button, list based and date picker fields.

So you have the ability to customise profiles and modify them exactly as you want them to be. The custom field’s aid in capturing and reporting the precise data required.


Custom Asset: Pro gives you the ability to track assets. Tracking assets assists in preventing the loss of items because often it’s not just a case of a lost asset, but the data on the asset that is irreplaceable. It can also be massively beneficial to know who was in possession of an asset at a certain date and time.

You are no longer limited to set parameters in the creation of an asset view. Customised asset profiles can have an unlimited number of views and fields within each asset view. By adding descriptive fields, you can quickly identify the asset and manage different groups of assets.

Additionally this feature steps it up even further with the ability to link the person and asset profiles. It is easy to track assets by linking tagholders and groups of tagholders to assets. Pro provides a complete asset history view to track which tagholder the asset was assigned to and when.

 

Customised Reports

In version 1.2 Pro has expanded standard reporting capabilities to include three new standard report options: First Access, Last Access and Hours Worked, as well as Pro’s fully customisable reporting feature. Data can be refined by adding an unlimited number of customised filters, so you can drill down to create, save and view the data to get the exact view required.

Tagholder Report: displays information on tagholders in the system
Transaction Report: displays all tagholder transactions during a specific time period
First Access Report: display tagholder information for first access during a specific time period
Last Access Report: display tagholder information for last access during a specific time period
Hours Worked Report: Calculates hours worked for a tagholder within an anti-pass back zone

 

Scheduled Tours

Scheduled tours are designed to monitor persons assigned to complete a designated route to fulfil their duties on time and at the correct locations. Ideal for a multitude of situations such as cleaning schedules, security purposes or inspections.

You determined the route, name it appropriately, select the readers to act as check points in the consecutive order you’d like the tour to follow and add a time frame it is to be completed in.

Pro links a tagholder to a tour and provides live transaction views of active scheduled tours, so you can monitor the progress of each scheduled tour. Multiple tours can run at the same time, on the same route – with a history view of tagholders transactions for each tour.

 

Sigma Integration

The Sigma series is the latest biometric range from Safran Morpho. This recently launched biometric range is fully integrated with Pro. The Sigma integration option will automatically appear on the menu. Pro allows an intuitive enrolment experience with quick, simple fingerprint enrolment entirely through the browser.

The Sigma series includes the ability to use touch screen for configuration and videophone functions. This allows pre-programming of numerous telephone numbers which can be called from the unit itself to a cellphone or landline to request access.
